The Role:

We are looking for a Fraud Manager to support our Head of Risk in delivering upon fraud tasks and to help foster a culture of risk awareness. You will investigate suspicious activity using your analytical skills. From this you will create insightful, accurate and data driven policies, as well as review methodologies with an emphasis on automation. This is very much an analytical/strategic fraud role (as opposed to operational).
You consider yourself something of a Fraud SME, familiar with commonly used data sources, solutions, analytics and tools used for fraud detection and prevention. You thrive in an environment that is constantly changing, and that provides you with both challenge and opportunity. You recognise the importance of being able to track, record, and combat fraud at scale as a huge part of competitive advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement, manage and improve the fraud detection system and continually evaluate and refine rules to ensure that customers and the business are protected from the threat of fraud
  • Deliver and execute on changes to fraud prevention rules, including analysis of volume and financial impacts
  • Provide a mechanism to support, develop and provide feedback to fraud operational processes based on findings from fraud systems data and investigations
  • Work together with all internal stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for customers and the business are met
  • Research and establish networks with industry leaders to provide latest and best in house fraud prevention tools

Key Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in online fraud prevention in Banking or Financial Services
  • High level of analytical skills (Excel, etc.)
  • Knowledge of UK fraud industry bodies (CIFAS, Hunter, Threat Metrix)
  • Must be able to communicate clearly at all levels and capable of writing procedures, presentations and reports
  • Adaptable and be able to embrace change including resilience under pressure
  • A thirst to investigate, propose and embrace new methods and technology

Helpful Haves:

  • Fraud experience in B2B, B2C and/or invoice discounting

The Role:

We are looking for a strategic Product Owner to lead our most complex and innovative projects, in particular the delivery of our credit card portfolios. In this role you will identify the critical product issues that impact the business and its customers, and set the roadmap for new product features that consider innovation and usability.
You have an intuitive feeling for the way products should work and a deep understanding of what users want. You have worked in an alternative financial institution and have a strong background in credit cards. You never tire of pushing for better work and to have the best product possible, using analytics and user research to validate new opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • New product development from concept through implementation and release, in particular of the Capital on Tap credit card portfolios
  • Monitor and make recommendations for improvement of product performance including pricing, bundling, and marketing strategy
  • Successfully lead cross-functional teams and effectively communicate at all levels
  • Monitor key product analytics to inform development priorities
  • Exceed users’ needs and wants, especially those they haven’t articulated yet!

Key Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years’ product management experience in a B2B environment
  • Strong credit card background in an alternative finance organisation
  • A demonstrated track record of successfully delivering complex projects with demanding deadlines
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and diagnostic skills
  • Experience using data to drive decisions and establishing relevant metrics
  • Ability to communicate roadmap and initiative status and changes to broader organisation

Helpful Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field

You will be the driver of all new customer acquisition initiatives, leveraging our data sources to lead growth marketing and conversion rate optimisation. You have a real passion for data and a keen interest in driving rapid customer expansion and company revenue growth. You are looking for a dynamic and varied role where you will be working directly with senior management to drive new strategic marketing initiatives and company growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively plan, develop and test marketing strategies to fuel new customer acquisition
  • Analysing the effectiveness of Capital on Tap’s conversion funnel and identify areas where new strategies can be implemented to increase customer acquisition
  • Set and deliver on tangible content and campaign goals (i.e. open-rate, conversion, referrals, engagement, etc.)
  • Create and discover new distribution channels and strategies to grow Capital on Tap’s customer base

Key Skills and Experience:

  • At least 2-3 years of relevant data or analytics experience (preferably with a management consulting or investment banking background)
  • Excellent analytical skills (Excel to an advanced level)
  • Self-starter with ability to execute strategies and meet tight deadlines
  • Team player who works effectively with leadership
  • Strong communication, organisational and prioritisation skills

Helpful Haves:

  • SQL/Python proficiency
  • Demonstrable experience in executing an agile marketing strategy
  • Google Adwords and/or analytics certification or similar

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Wolfpack in West London. The successful candidate will receive a salary of £23,000 per annum with uncapped commission and achievable OTE of £60,000 - £70,000.
You are a self-motivated and tenacious seller with exceptional powers of persuasion. You hunger for the sale, success and commission, but also want to sell a solution you believe in. While you thrive in a competitive environment, you also desire to work with a team of dynamic, fun and driven sales professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for your own pipeline, which you will build yourself from a combination of inbound leads from direct marketing campaigns
  • Build a strong understanding of SMEs across various industries
  • Educating customers on their options for funding and making a suitable offer
  • Closing deals and liaising with Risk and Operations teams for successful handover of the account
  • Logging all communications on bespoke CRM system

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a B2B, telesales environment
  • Proven ability to convert inbound leads into closed deals
  • Previous experience selling financial products or insurance
  • Passionate about selling into the SME market
  • Ambitious and driven to achieve targets and earn commission
  • Strong telephone sales skill
